OC BLACK CHAMBER TO CELEBRATE "35 YEARS OF ACCESS TO INFORMATION AND DIVERSE COMMUNITIES" AT ANNUAL BANQUET

ORANGE COUNTY'S VISIONARY EDUCATIONAL LEADERS & OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY LEADERS

Southern California - August 1, 2019— Orange County Black Chamber will celebrate exceptional education, business and community leaders at its 35th Anniversary Banquet. This year's event will be held at the City National Grove of Anaheim and will include its historical silent auction at 5:30 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at $150 per person or tables of eight at $1500. Complimentary parking is included.

The Black Chamber will be presenting the following awards to these dedicated individuals and community organizations:

2019 Community Service Award - Pacific Symphony.

2019 Community Leadership Award - Ed Laird, CEO, Laird Coatings Corporation.

2019 Business Person of the Year - Cathy Steele Woodard, Steele A Moment 2 Travel

"35 Years of Access to information and diverse communities has been the foundation of which the chamber was built" said a proud and expressive Bobby McDonald, Executive Director of the Black Chamber. "We look forward to maintaining our ability to help improve, enhance and grow your business with positive networking and relationship building in our diverse communities for decades to come".

The Black Chamber Education Fund (BCEF) will continue to recognize and award book scholarships to several students for their outstanding contributions throughout the year for deeds that are essential and impactful in our community. The BCEF will also recognize several veteran students.
